For the first time in nearly three decades, Georgia Tech football is wearing the Under Armour logo once again. On July 1, the Yellow Jackets officially launched their exclusive 10-year partnership with Under Armour, unveiling a completely refreshed football uniform collection that blends Georgia Tech’s rich tradition with a modern look designed for today’s college football landscape. The launch also marks a full-circle moment, as Georgia Tech was Under Armour’s first collegiate customer back in 1996.
Rather than introducing a radical redesign, Georgia Tech and Under Armour chose evolution over revolution. The new uniforms maintain the iconic White and Gold identity that Yellow Jacket fans expect while introducing several noticeable upgrades:
- A warmer, richer Old Gold replaces the previous metallic shade.
- A deeper navy blue creates a stronger visual contrast throughout the uniform.
- Campanile-inspired striping appears on the shoulders and pants, paying tribute to one of Georgia Tech’s most recognizable campus landmarks.
- Updated typography and cleaner number styling provide a modern yet timeless appearance.

Perhaps the biggest takeaway from the reveal is the flexibility.
With gold, white, and dark pants paired alongside both white and gold helmets, Georgia Tech now has as many as 12 different uniform combinations to choose from throughout the 2026 season.
Among the combinations unveiled:
- Gold jersey with white pants
- Gold jersey with dark pants
- White jersey with gold pants
- White jersey with white pants
- Multiple helmet pairings featuring both traditional gold and white shells
The expanded wardrobe gives Brent Key’s program more opportunities to mix classic looks with modern combinations while maintaining the school’s historic identity.

The partnership extends far beyond uniforms. Under Armour becomes Georgia Tech’s exclusive provider of uniforms, apparel, footwear, and accessories across all athletic programs for the next decade. The agreement also includes expanded NIL opportunities, increased retail availability, and future collaboration between Under Armour and Georgia Tech on innovation and product development.
Georgia Tech didn’t make fans wait long. The first wave of Under Armour merchandise began arriving at the Barnes & Noble at Georgia Tech Bookstore before the official July 1 launch, with additional merchandise now available through:
- RamblinWreckStore.com
- UnderArmour.com
- Dick’s Sporting Goods
- Academy Sports + Outdoors
Fans will also find the new apparel throughout Bobby Dodd Stadium and other Georgia Tech athletic venues during the 2026-27 athletic year. Georgia Tech’s new uniforms accomplish exactly what fans were hoping for.
Instead of chasing flashy trends, the Yellow Jackets leaned into their tradition while refining every detail. The richer Old Gold, deeper navy accents, subtle Campanile-inspired design elements, and expanded uniform combinations create a modern look without sacrificing the program’s history.
Coupled with a landmark $186 million, 10-year partnership with Under Armour, Georgia Tech enters the 2026 season with renewed momentum both on the field and financially. The investment reflects the growing strength of the Yellow Jackets’ athletic brand and provides another major building block as Brent Key continues to elevate the football program.
For Georgia Tech, this isn’t simply a new uniform unveiling—it signals the beginning of a new era. GO JACKETS! STING EM!
